Accommodation Gold Coast

The Gold Coast has an abundance of places to stay close to the event venues.  All events are towards the northern end of the Gold Coast (Southport to Helensvale).

Accommodation South Burnett

The Easter 3 Days has events near Kingaroy (Day 1 & 2) with the Prologue event 10km outside Blackbutt and Day 3 located 27km from Nanango (52km from Kingaroy).

Please note that there is a Speedway and Campdrafting event at Kingaroy over the Easter weekend, as such accommodation could be scarce in Kingaroy, so book early to avoid disappointment. The Kingaroy show grounds are unavailable for camping over the entire weekend.  There is, however, ample camping elsewhere (see below).

Camping
If camping is your thing here are a few resources to help you out:

We have made arrangements for Orienteers to camp at the Nanango Showgrounds and at The Washpool (near Days 1&2). There is plenty of room.  We are taking bookings now with payment in March. Fill in this form to book at one of these two venues.
  • Nanango Show grounds: The camping at the Showground has basic facilities, powered and unpowered sites. (Facebook)
  • The Washpool is located on a remote bush creek bank very close to the Day 1 & 2 event area. It’s a pleasant place to relax and enjoy the night skies. The venue would suit self-sufficient campers who are well kitted out. Unpowered sites, toilets, no showers, limited tank water.
